BRAIN EXERCISES TO IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY
Aging occurs to all of us. With advancement of age wear and tear of body also starts. Not only our muscles and bone but our brain also undergoes degeneration. As we maintain our physique with physical workout, certain mental workouts are also needed to keep our brain sharp. It also helps in preventing the development of Dementia Disorders.
A healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, avoiding smoking and moderating alcohol, regular physical exercise are the first few steps of maintaining a healthy brain.
Ten simple methods to keep your brain sharp:
- Test your Recall : Make a list of items for examples tings on your table, grocery list etc, and try to remember and recollect them. Even if you could not recollect all of them at the first attempt, keep doing it till you perfect it. You can choose a different set of items every time you do this brain exercise.

- Mental Math's : Do some mathematical calculations in your mind. Start with simple addition and go forward from there. It will surely make you sharp.
- Cooking : Yup that's right cooking helps you in many ways. From remembering the recipe to adjusting the taste, cooking sharpens almost all of your senses.
- Word Pictures : Try to visualize the spelling of a word in your mind. Think of other Word that begin or end with the same letter.
- Taste Identification : Next time when you are at your dinner, try to figure out the different ingredients in your meal.
- Fine Motor Skill's : Improve your fine motor skills like painting, knitting, drawing, assembling Lego. This helps the brain to maintain attention and there by improve memory.
- Sports activities : Learning and doing sports activities greatly helps your brain to relax and stay sharp.
